When did you graduate nursing school?
I graduated back in May of 2016. I attended a four year university in San Diego, California and graduated with my Bachelor's of Science in Nursing.

How many questions did you have on the NCLEX?

I was very fortunate to only have 75 questions. You can read about my actual NCLEX day here or my study plan here.

What sources did you use to study?

I used a couple of different resources to prepare for the NCLEX. For content review, I used the Saunders NCLEX Review book and my NCLEX Mastery App. For strategy and practice, I utilized the QBANK from my Kaplan course.

What's your job?

I am working as a registered nurse on an oncology floor. Intially I started out on nights, but after three months or so I was able to switch to day shift! You can read about my orientation here.

What are you favorite nurse gear?
For pens, I like the bic multi-color pen.
My stethoscope is a Littmann Cardiology IV.
For scrubs, I have been wearing Uniform Advantage Easy Stretch and Maeven Pure or EON Scrubs.
For shoes, I have been NurseMates Align.

What size scrubs do you wear?
I am 5'1 and weight around 140. I order a small top, and medium petite pants.

What do you do in your free time?
In my free time, I like to take my two dogs to the park, read a good romance novel, or practice handlettering.
