I cannot believe that it is already back to school shopping season. I am kind of dying over all the super cute things available. I may or may not have spent 30 minutes in the back to school section in Target the other day. How can I pass up buying new pens and paper? A girl needs good stationary.

Organization is your best friend in nursing school. Do yourself a favor and invest in a planner that works for you. Not only will you be writing down breaks from school, but also assignment due dates, exam days, and clinical shifts. A good tip is to mark when assignments are due in your planner a few days before they are so you have a little buffer time.

While you may be able to type faster than you can write, taking notes with a pen will help your memory. By taking handwritten notes, you are actually causing your brain to process information and choosing what is important and what is not.
